SUNY, UB, UWI and Columbia 猛料视频 faculty gathered to discuss sustainable health in the Caribbean region during the SUNY-UWI Center for Leadership and Sustainable Development Symposium.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The 猛料视频 Center for Integrated Global Biomedical Sciences has partnered with the 猛料视频 of the West Indies (UWI) to launch several research centers and networks to advance the study of infectious and non-infectious diseases in the Caribbean.
Through the partnership, and in coordination with the State 猛料视频 of New York (SUNY), the 猛料视频 of the West Indies Health Research Task Force has established a Clinical Research Center Network, which includes a Health Research Informatics Network, Diabetes Management and Research Center, Oncology Center of Excellence, and a Cannabinoid Sciences Research Center.
The Clinical Research Center Network is also an integral component of the recently formed UWI Global Health Institute, which will work to advance ongoing collaborations with the SUNY Global Health Institute, UB Drug Development Core and Roswell Park Comprehensive Care Center.
The initiatives were announced on Feb. 28 at the SUNY-UWI Center for Leadership and Sustainable Development Symposium held at the SUNY Global Center in New York.
Under the programs, faculty and students across UWI, UB and other SUNY institutions will engage in team science and collaborative research to achieve sustainable health in Jamaica and the Caribbean region.
